UNITED AIR LINES MEMORIAL AT GRAND CANYO

The United Air Lines headstone naming all 29 unidentified victims and also two victims who were identified, even though the latter were not buried here and were sent home for private interment. The two identified victims' names on the stone were included at the request of family members, in the sentiment that because each of these persons was traveling with a second family member who was amongst the unidentified, they should symbolically remain with that person.
